BUFFALO WOMAN REPORTS ABDUCTION IN LEWISTON

A 28-year-old Buffalo woman told state police she was abducted for more than an hour Wednesday afternoon in the Lewiston area.

Investigator Frank Panza said the woman told them that when she left the Riverside Inn in Lewiston at 2 p.m. and entered her car, she felt what appeared to be a gun pressed into her ribs by someone in the back seat. She said she was told to "keep driving."

The woman said the man, about 25 years old and Hispanic, jumped out on River Road near Joseph Davis State Park.
