A proposed $30.4 million budget will be decided on Wednesday by residents of the Sweet Home Central School District, along with three propositions and one Board of Education candidate who is running unopposed.
Voting will be from noon to 9 p.m. in the Sweet Home Middle School, 4150 Maple Road.
The first proposition is for $249,645 to allow the district to purchase five full-size diesel buses and two 16-passenger buses.
The second proposition, for $810,000, would fund the district's mandated asbestos abatement program.
A third proposition, for $182,332, would supply funds to hire, train and place qualified bus aides on the district's buses.
James Carlins is seeking the School Board seat presently held by Douglas Routt, a 10-year board member who is not running for re-election.
