The Riverside Business Association will sponsor its 10th annual Towpath Festival featuring rides, food and games from Thursday through Monday in Riverside Park.
Dennis Evchich of the association called the festival a fund-raiser for community projects in northwest Buffalo.
The weekend's activities will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday with the Towpath Festival parade, along Tonawanda Street to the park. County Executive Gorski will be grand marshal.
Other events include:
Monte Carlo tent, opening at 5 p.m. Friday and continuing from 3 to 11 p.m. through Monday. Proceeds from the event will benefit Black Rock-Riverside Neighborhood Housing Services, Town Boys and Girls Club, and the Ronald McDonald House.
Fishing contest from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday along the Niagara River at Ontario Street.
Talent show for children 13 and younger at 2 p.m. Saturday.
Arts and crafts show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
