A Mass of Christian Burial for Kathleen L. Lach, 83, of Niagara Towers, a retired voting inspector and widow of former Niagara County Undersheriff John Lach, will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1419 Falls St.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 in the LaBuda Funeral Home, 356 Portage Road. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Lewiston.
Mrs. Lach, a Niagara Falls native, died Sunday (May 21, 1989) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston.
She retired in 1981 after serving as a voting inspector for the Niagara County Board of Elections for 50 years. She also had worked for a time at the Keller Insurance Agency here. Her husband died in 1978.
She was a past president and a founding member of the ladies auxiliary of the Pulaski Society and a member of the American Association for Retired Persons, the Niagara Falls Golden Age Club and the Echo Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Marjorie A. Krzyskoski and Patricia Lee; a brother, Chester E. Stamborski; five sisters, Helen Kluga, Mary Paczynski, Estelle Ciesielski, Jeanette Dobrasz and Bernice Carpenter; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
