HORNELL ARTS COUNCIL SETS 10TH ANNUAL FEST SATURDAY

More than 50 artists and craftsmen will exhibit their work at the Hornell Area Arts Council's 10th annual Festival of Arts Saturday in the Broadway Mall.

Entertainment will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a performance by students of Cathy Fenti's Dancing School. The Hornell Wind Ensemble will present an hour of music beginning at 11 a.m., and librarian Terry Guenther will entertain at 12:30 p.m. with her storytelling.

There will be a celebrity auction at 1 p.m., and the Waylandaires will perform at 2 p.m.

The emphasis of the festival again will be on the arts and crafts exhibit, including pottery and ceramics, jewelry, painting wood crafts, needlework and a variety of country crafts.

Exhibitors are expected from Jamestown and Delevan, the Southern Tier, the Finger Lakes region and northern Pennsylvania.
