What a great sport boxing is. We recently had a fight during which Sugar Ray Leonard won two championship belts (light heavyweight and super middleweight) at one weight -- 162 pounds. How in the name of common sense can that possibly happen in a sport that already has too many organizations (WBA, WBC, IBF and NABF) and too many champions?
To add insult to injury, every time Leonard wins a title he never defends them (except for the first title he won). He retires and then unretires to fight some champion in decline and collect millions.
Let Leonard and Mike Tyson fight for all the boxing titles and then maybe the boxing riddle will be solved.
